Come hell or high water,

Appalachia is forever.

We help Helene survivors in Appalachia survive and thrive.

We are taking massive action in a short time frame to help those affected by Helene, but we cannot achieve our goals alone. Our current project is to provide long-term housing.

Quick Facts:

More than 6,000 miles of road have been destroyed.

The area affected isn’t a “town.” It’s an area of land with many towns and cities the size of the entire state of Massachusetts.

More than 250,000 homes were either destroyed or damaged.

Twice the yearly flow of the Mississippi River flowed through Western North Carolina within 48 hours.

In some places, the river rose over 46 feet.

Some mudslides gained speeds of over 60 MPH.

Help is coming from people like you, not government organizations.

Dozens of adults and children froze to death in tents this winter. Our winter goal was to prevent as many unnecessary deaths this winter as possible.

Over 1,000 people are still homeless living in tents, 6 months later.

Our Ambitious Mission

In the wake of Hurricane Helene, thousands of people in Appalachia faced a brutal winter without adequate shelter. Our nonprofit is dedicated to preventing the tragic loss of life from freezing temperatures by providing immediate, effective housing solutions.

Already, we have helped 100 individuals find warmth and safety in canvas hot tents, a life-saving alternative that keeps people warm even on the coldest nights. We also provided winter snow suits to help prevent children from freezing to death.

Our current goal is to provide long term effective housing solutions this spring and winter by building 4 communities across Western North Carolina. We are raising 10 million in funding to bring this project to life.

Your support will help us bring warmth, safety, and hope to hundreds of people. Together, we can ensure that those impacted by Hurricane Helene and the wildfires have a fighting chance to survive and rebuild their lives. Join us in making a tangible difference.
